I’m gonna add both, my mistake as a judge and a bad judge In my first comp, i thought the competitor said ready and i lifted the cover. Turns out he wasn’t. He got an extra but the worst part is, that scramble was the best one in the finals set My experience wasnt that bad. The judge did not say 8 seconds and directly said 12. The scramble was bad and i was looking at potential solutions for cross. I wouodve decided on a solution at 8 sec but that mever happened. I got so flustered that i wasted like 3-4 sec of the solve because i hadnt planned my solution

I remember meeting verde's son at a comp at stanford. He told me if I see any v-cube knock-off's to let him know. (Then v-cube failed to update/innovate and the knockoff's succeeded) Also got to see the 6x6 v-cube prototype at my first comp in 2008 which was pretty cool.
